Simple or even unsuspenseful plots, conventional routines, and consistent warm lines. In the past, I would sneer at such stories and only like the cheerful and exciting plot in it, such as the carnival slide in the iceberg. Times have changed, and when I look at it again, I am moved by the "vulgar" plot and the "nauseous" dialogue.
Sid the sloth, who was left behind by his family who moved south because he slept late, was optimistic from beginning to end, but what he said to Diego the tiger "You know, I've never meet a friend who would risk his life to save me" ", makes me convinced that his Le Dian is not a brain injury. The lighthearted tone of the film belies the value of his optimism despite difficult circumstances. And that's what moved me.
Mammoth Manny, who looks indifferent and calm, is actually the most emotional one. Sid once jokingly said to him "You have beautiful eyes". Indeed, in his eyes you could see everything he was trying so hard to hide. Nostalgia for his family, sadness for the past, the strong man is actually very fragile because of his credulity; the independent he is actually very lonely; the seemingly ruthless he is actually very delicate. From his painful past, I am gratified to see that he is still kind, trusting others, and treating friends sincerely. Such a lovely Manny!
In the end, the trio hit the road together, leaving behind their warm figures and dialogues in the ice and snow. As Sid said at the end, "This gonna be a wonderful trip" (seems like what I remember is what Sid said ^_^).
