I also watched the cartoon "Crazy Primitives". Although I don't know what the film's team is, this film is really very evangelical in my opinion.
The plot of the movie has to be involved:
1. The only way the primitive family can think of to survive is to stay in a dark hole, and their neighbors have all died in primitive times.
2. The bold girl met a boy. The boy thinks with his head and can use fire, while the primitive family usually only thinks with his stomach.
3. The family followed the boy suspiciously. The boy told them that the world was about to be destroyed, and they could live on a mountain with the light.
4. The primitive family was destroyed, and the disaster really came. In the various conflicts along the way, the boy's words became heavier and heavier.
5. The family gradually changed. After accepting the boy's words and experiencing unimaginable tests, they finally reached the land of light.
"Keep walking towards the sun." This is what the boy told the family in the film.
The boy has the image of civilized people in this film, and the family was originally just primitive people.
The gospel that Christians believe is actually the good news of Jesus saving sinners. Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, the only way to the light that leads people to eternal life.
There are many overlaps between this movie and the gospel:
1. When people do not believe in the Lord, they live in darkness. When they know the gospel, they will walk out of the darkness, walk into the light, walk out of themselves, and live out the same life as Christ. new life. Primitive people originally lived in caves, but they were forced to walk into the sun and learn to live in the sun.
2. A boy is like a Christian who preaches the gospel of light and brings life to life.
3. To the light of the end, there are many difficulties along the way. Christians also have to go through many hardships in their life. Sometimes, just like a family in a movie, they need to go through a certain path. Although there are dangers on the road, there are also various ways to pass.
4. As the father of the head of the family, he learned to use his head, and he also experienced the baptism of self-denial and love through the process of facing the test of death.
Movies have a lot to do with the Gospel, and of course don't try to find them. But I can think of, for example, the original thinking with the stomach - "their god is their belly", which refers to people without spirituality.
The film is bright and boldly imaginative, entertaining and moving. I think the same is true as a Christian, why can we not care about our grievances, we can forgive and love our enemies, because if they are our brothers and sisters, they will be the ones who will inherit eternal life with us. We were a family too.
Why are Christians considered children of light? Because we live with the glory of the Lord, because we are to tell others the great news that saves life.
After experiencing all kinds of hardships, when the future draws near to the beauty and glory of eternity, we will find that what we endure in this life is really worth it. That is—how worth it.
