child looking up at the sky

The clearest night sky in my memory is elementary school.
Late summer and early autumn, the sky is full of stars. It was too hot in the house, so I took the mat to the roof, spread it out, lay down, and watched the stars in the cool breeze.
In elementary school, there is a class called "Nature", which talks about the knowledge of constellations. The bright stars evoke the beautiful imagination of human beings, and let the originally unrelated planets form moving legends - Leo, Libra, Orion...
I recognize The Big Dipper, they are the tail of the constellation Ursa Major, also known as the Spoon Star. Looking forward along the handle of the spoon, you can find the whole starry sky, not the brightest, but the most famous Big Dipper.
At that time, people were small and their knowledge was limited. Facing the vast starry sky, my heart is filled with a sense of awe. The universe is so big, with dense nebulae, and there is a sky beyond the sky. There must be another kind of intelligent creature living on a certain distant planet. Among them, there is a child with wide eyes like me. Looking at the Milky Way, thinking about the same problem as me.
Then grew up.
Study hard, be sensible, and don't run the train with your mouth full of fantasies.
Later, I was recruited and passed the college entrance examination.
To face stacks of test papers, to compete, not to waste time.
Then I went to college and worked.
To go to get off work every day, have a sense of responsibility, the head seems to be sleepy all the time, and it is difficult to focus.
Only then did I remember that the starry sky in the past was dazzling and magical, and the eyes of myself in the past were bright. Now, the sky is cloudy, and I'm starting to get numb.
Over the weekend, suddenly, I downloaded the BBC's "Human Planet", an eight-episode documentary. After watching two episodes, the child who looked up at the starry sky seemed to wake up from a deep slumber, opened his eyes diligently, once again looked at the world with curiosity and awe, and felt the heartbeat of the world.
Although living in it, but do you really understand the earth we are in?
Mountains, rivers, lakes, seas, hills and basins, if you don't discover it, it will be difficult for you to understand how people can live like this on the other side of the earth. Bone yellow sand, sunset withered river, if you don't look at it, you can hardly believe that there are so many civilizations on the earth, silently dissipating in the long river of history.
I won't say much about the praise, just two words, I like it.
The technology is impeccable, textbook-like photography, editing, sound and picture matching, and small bridges can immediately evoke various emotions in people, whether they are nervous, or relieved, or sad, or put down a high-hanging one. Heart, let out a long breath.
clever!

Paying attention to the things around us can make our lives better and more comfortable.
Paying attention to nature makes us broaden our horizons and keep our curiosity alive.
There is no right or wrong, the two can coexist. I just want to say, if you like it, or once liked it, shake off the dust in your heart, go out for a walk, climb the mountain, blow the wind, like a child, pick a sunny autumn night Just look at the stars.

I finally finished watching it this weekend, all 8 episodes of "Human Planet", a documentary that BBC made meticulously over 3 years, which is comparable to the "Planet Earth" film. It is totally worth watching when I have time, and I have more travel plans in the future. to several destinations.
