A poignant satire on religious beliefs? I don't think so. What the film only presents is the direct conflict between two life states that cannot be intersected, but it does not delve into the root causes of these two views of life. Although she finally swung the whip, she hugged and cried in an instant. In my opinion, this is not a real departure, but a state of walking hard in the process. The film is not about hesitation and hesitation, denial and affirmation, in belief and unbelief. Austrian director Ulrich Seidl's "Paradise" series of trilogy.
