Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams are all my favorite actors, and they are assembled in the same movie, which is a big gift for me. All three of them are nominated for this Oscar as their senior fans. Really have a lot of emotion. In order to play the role of drug addict Dicky, Christian Bale quickly lost 50 pounds from the dark knight's super hero. He looks skinny. His dedication to the film has also been affirmed by the academics, and he is the best supporting actor as he wishes. Mark Wahlberg was nominated for the best actor this time. He saw a strong rebound trend after experiencing a trough. For this film, he paid 4 years of muscle training. He can proudly show his performance in front of the audience. Results. Film adaptations based on true stories often lack a bit of drama, and this is precisely why I like the "base on the true story" label.

PS: As a six Oscar nominated film, I waited for the original BD with great expectations. Although the DTS-HD sound effects did not play a special role in this film, I hope to collect the best version. Including its production tidbits.
