color of the wind

What a miracle! Saw it together on my daughter's DVD.
The lyrics are great, so many ups and downs full of bizarre and imaginative clauses,
although not Shireen, but the singer's bright voice is like Shireen.
I listened to it many times yesterday and made up for my broken childhood by myself. LOL

translated the lyrics (the last paragraph is very domineering, so I won't turn it over).

In addition, there is a classic sentence in this movie: "I would rather meet you for a day than live alone for a hundred years."

"The Color of the Wind" is
from the movie "Bao Ka Conti (Pocahontas in English)
or Pocahontas (in Chinese)

You take me for a savage savages
You claim to be thousands of miles and vast
I guess, but still can't tell
if it's called The savages are me
Why, why do
you know nothing in the land where I live

You domineeringly think that all the land you can step on
belongs to you
Then, your territory is nothing but a death thing
I know,
every stone, every tree, every creature
has a life, has a spirit, has a reputation

that you handed to believe that people can be called person you
just face if the person you
just thought if your people
but i know that
if you dare to follow in the footsteps of a stranger
you will reap something you have never known

you have ever heard a wolf howling as far as the blue moon have
you ever asked why the lynx in the woods is always Smirking proudly,
have you ever sang along with the echo of the mountain
Have you ever brought your favorite color to paint with
you? Have you ever brought your favorite color to paint with you

, galloping along this hidden pine forest road
, tasting this sweet fruit like the sun, the
abundant natural beauty around you
Tumbling and jumping in the gifts , even if it's just once
in your mind, don't count their value

Rainforests and rivers are my brothers The
wild heron and the otter have joined me,
we are bound together in
life and death

, how tall can the fig tree grow
? Drop it and you won't know that
you'll never hear the wolf howling as far as the blue moon in the sky

Whether we are fair skinned or coppery brown
We should sing along the echoes of the mountains
We should bring the color of the wind play together ink

Colors Of at The Wind by Pocahontas

by you of Think the I'm ignorant AN Savage
And you've been SO MANY the Places-
the I GUESS the MUST IT BE SO
But Still not the I CAN See
the If at The Savage One IS Me
How CAN BE SO much there that you don't know?
You don't know ...

You think you own whatever land you land on
The Earth is just a dead thing you can claim
But I know every rock and tree and creature
Has a life, has a spirit, has a name

You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and think like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You'll learn things you never knew you never knew

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sunsweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends

How high will the sycamore grow?
If you cut it down, then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon

For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains
We need to paint with all the colors of the wind

You can own the Earth and still
All you'll own is Earth until
You can paint with all the colors of the wind

More typical Disney-style cartoons: sing at every turn, the hero and heroine fall in love at first sight, funny and cute animals, ugly and greedy villain, supernatural ability (tree mother). Still too idealistic: the heroine and heroine easily broke the language barrier; the heroine (the daughter of the Indian chief) begged for mercy, her chief father put down the butcher knife, and the British sailors and Indians ceased the war. In the end, the male protagonist who suffered a gunshot took a boat back to England. The female protagonist did not go with him and chose to stay in his hometown. The length of the film is only 70 minutes, which is quite restrained. The second part is not going to be watched.

I`d rather die tomorrow, than live a hundred years without knowing you.

Pocahontas quotes

  • Thomas: [as a bugle is being played] John, you better get down here! The governor's coming ashore!

John Smith: [blows an attacking Flit away from his face] All right, all right! I'm leaving.

  • Ben: [Captain John Smith has just jumped off the ship during a storm to save Thomas] Smith! Are you crazy?
