A gangster film with a calm but dark tide on the surface, I paused several times during the entire viewing process to reminisce about its delicate details. If you like temperamental movies, don't miss it. Every line exudes elegance and charm, and every scene is full of anger and violence. What's even more surprising is that Cronenberg left a very unexpected open ending, which must not be ignored. Don't expect a sequel to come.
