A movie that grows with people

"The Lion King" is a movie that can grow with people. The touch and the aftertaste it brings to people are deep and long-lasting. The first time I saw it, I cried twice, once when Mufasa died and Simba shouted desperately, and once when Simba stood on the Glory Rock again at the end of the film, and everything revived. The background of the story is selected on the African savannah full of vitality. The magnificent grassland has transformed the profound themes of love, responsibility, growth, and the reincarnation of life into a grand epic, showing a new magnificent world. We experience the touch of love and adventure in life. This kind of connotation transcends any culture and country, because humans cannot change the laws of nature, and love is the emotion that humans always pursue. The reason why this is a movie that grows with people is because we can see our own growth in the movie. Just like the protagonist Simba, he is carefree, naughty and brave in his childhood, holding his head up and singing "i will be lion king".

The plot is too weak. If you are older than 8, just skip it. It's not bad to keep it for nephews, nephews, sons, and daughters. Mr. Pig is quite impressive from Hans Zimmer~

The best part is the ritualized lyrical soundtrack and the extremely smooth visual scene design. From the perspective of the production dimension of the two-dimensional animation, the overall film also has a fairly high level of completion. However, the plot layout too follows Disney's value orientation, adapting Shakespeare's script to be more sloppy, omitting many details worthy of performance. It takes at least two hours for this animation to show the time and space span of this epic family drama and the emotional and psychological span of the characters. In a sense, "internal change" is the spiritual core of the epic drama. ★★★

The Lion King quotes

  • Pumbaa: Anything we can do?

Young Simba: Not unless you can change the past.

  • Scar: Simba. What have you done?

Young Simba: There were wildebeests, and he tried to save me. It was an accident. I didn't mean for it to happen.

Scar: Of course. Of course you didn't. No one ever means for these things to happen. But the king is dead. And if it weren't for you, he'd still be alive.
