Runt and Pig have been different since Runt was taken away. Runt is quiet, Pig is furious; Runt starts thinking from the womb, and Pig expresses his feelings freely. When they're together, Runt and Pig have similar styles (don't know if I can see the difference again), and actually behave the way Pig does. When they parted, Pig was still Pig and Runt began to return to Runt in the womb.
The scene of goodbye is not difficult to understand.
Why did Pig go wild in THE PALACE's bathroom? Runt was completely oblivious to or deliberately ignoring Pig's mood. Runt met Pig like an old friend, and Pig met Runt like a loved one who had been thinking about it day and night.
During the conversation, Pig: "Look at the decoration, hillbilly. Isn't it beautiful here, Runt?"
Runt: "And the people here are so gentle and friendly." Pig is embarrassed.
Pig: "We
've been together for seventeen years, haven't we?" Runt changed the subject, Runt: "I'm going to dance here with a whole bunch of girls and dance like one, isn't it funny?"
Silence, while disguising sex of drinking.
Pig: "Look at the golden boy and
girl in the mirror, who is that?" Runt: "Of course it's us."
Pig: "Is it like a husband and wife?"
Runt: "Yes, it's real."
This is according to The rejection style of the Runt character. Pig went to the bathroom, panicked and desperate.
