45th anniversary

Most of this year's Oscar hits strike me as overrated, and so does this best-nominated movie with both male and female leads.

I specially checked the birthday information of the two leading actors. Charlotte of Aquarius appropriately interprets the image of an old lady who is smart, wise and energetic even when she is old, as easy-going and kind as the grandma next door; Tom Courtenay of Pisces. It shows the scumbag old man who is hypocritical and nostalgic and self-deceiving to the fullest.

Watching the drug sir two days ago mentioned that this movie is not suitable for lovers who are in love, because it will make you lose your faith in marriage.

Through the ex-girlfriend who died 50 years ago, on the one hand, it proves that some love may really last forever. With a lifetime of nostalgia, no one can compete with the dead; on the other hand, it is nakedly revealed that marriage and love are two different things after all. Does not mean outright ownership.

It's a pity that the film is still a bit dull~

Originally, I had been secretly praising the British screenwriter, and then I found out who the director was, and sure enough. The acting skills of the two actors are also really admirable, including the memory of large lines. The whole film is good, only the skirt of the heroine at the end is a failure. It doesn't fit well enough to be too distracting. /// If it happened to me, I'd say, "Would you like to go back to Switzerland? Let's go."

#SIFF2015 I don't quite understand why I pretend to be in love and pretend to be living.
