Lost Star Trek - Star Trek 3: Beyond the Stars

Star Trek has been filmed like this, and it is completely consuming the fan audience. The quality of this kind of film is basically impossible to attract fans. If it was another film, I might give it a 3, but if it was made with an IP like Star Trek, I would give it a 2. Star Trek used to create ideas, creating planets, robotic creatures, etc. are all good ideas, and now there is no such thing left.
The film is relatively ordinary, the plot is the traditional Hollywood mass production mode, but it is dressed in the cloak of Star Trek. There is no creative point in science fiction. Not too creative. The final weapon is slow to activate and has a small attack range. What is the use of this weapon, it is really cumbersome, it is better to absorb the life of others. Coupled with such a huge army, fighting the alliance is simply a destructive trend, and this kind of weapon is simply not used. The movie's setting of the weaknesses of the bee army is too sloppy. Even if it is an enemy army, a reasonable weakness must be set. Find the correct reference point. Others chew up the stuff and use it. If it is not used correctly, it is also drunk.
The whole logic is really problematic. The enemy has such a huge army, how can they rush directly to someone else's base and save people directly, and the other party is not a small team of dozens of people. What's the use of the opponent trying to get this weapon, it has the same attack power as a group of ants. The log says that there are only three crew members left, and the people from the local planet have already abandoned the planet and left. Where did such a huge army come from? They still look like they should be of the same race. Could it be that three people have reproduced like this? Too much, it's too exaggerated.
Zyra came to the planet later, and the ship she occupied was left over by Klaus. Then Zyra usually hides the ship with holographic images, so wouldn't others find it strange? Why did his original abandoned ship suddenly disappear and become a mountain?

After JJ retired to Producer, Justin Lin took over as director, and his quality really improved a lot. Simon Pegg's script is much higher than the previous one, which directly copied the second episode of the old version. Could Captain Krik's hair be dyed better? It looks so unprofessional. The plot hints that the two protagonists in the lower part may be replaced. The tribute segment is much more natural and reasonable than the same director's Fast Furious 7. After the wonderful ending staff, we pay tribute to the two leading actors who have passed away.

For Chainsaw Fright, go for Fast and Furious, for Fast and Furious, for Star Trek, and for Star Trek, for Star Wars. It's not a problem, it's so mediocre when it's rotten, it's a problem.

Star Trek Beyond quotes

  • Captain James T. Kirk: Scotty, can you beam me onto one of those swarm ships?

Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott: Have you gone completely mad?

Captain James T. Kirk: Yes or no?

Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott: No. Yes. Maybe.

Commander Spock: Captain, my familiarity of the interior of those ships, however brief, makes me more qualified for this away mission.

Lieutenant Uhura: Spock, you're still hurt.

Captain James T. Kirk: She's right, Spock.

Commander Spock: I acknowledge and respect your concerns. Perhaps you would feel more confident if I were accompanied by someone with familiarity of both the ship and my injury.

Captain James T. Kirk: [sarcastic] He's gonna love this.

  • Captain James T. Kirk: Scotty, can you get this thing started?

Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott: Started, yes. Flying, sir, that's a different thing. These old vessels, they were built in space. They were never supposed to take off from atmosphere.

Captain James T. Kirk: Make it happen.

Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott: They're called starships for a reason, Captain.

Captain James T. Kirk: What, you're telling me this now?

Montgomery 'Scotty' Scott: Because I didn't want to disappoint you, you know, in case you didn't make it back.

Captain James T. Kirk: [sarcastic] How thoughtful, Mr. Scott.
