But the whole process resisted too fast, maybe the director was too anxious. In a short period of time, it is impossible for apes to evolve in this way, even with a powerful Caesar leading. It might be more true if it were written in terms of this line from the movie:
- Revolution.
- But... it's doomed to failure!
- Perhaps... this time.
- And the next.
- Maybe.
- But you 'll keep trying.
The core of this episode focuses on the discussion of slavery, without mentioning human cannibalism, which is lost to the previous ones.
"No" is the key word throughout. Humans use electrocution devices to shock apes, while the radio repeats "No" to make apes fear the word, allowing humans to better command and control them. But after the resistance began, the apes were no longer afraid of the "No" shouted by humans, and they still fought to the death with humans. Until the end, after listening to Caesar's words, Lisa said her first word "No" in order to express her objection.
And some other lines that appear in the last paragraph are more like they were added for forced sublimation, and they are not very convincing. Like
When we hate you, we're hating the dark side of ourselves.
It seems a little weird and hypocritical.
