Aside from its ever-changing film technology and gorgeous cast, this 2017 live-action film has nothing to brag about in front of its 26-year-old animated version—even in terms of setting and atmosphere. The overly dense song segments in the film weaken the plot too much and are self-defeating. As for the actors, although the combination of Emma and the big cousin, handsome men and women, is eye-catching, the effect is unsatisfactory. Missing out on lalaland and the accolades that might come with it, because her acting really hasn't gotten to the point where she's ready for awards season -- maybe that's what it's called, different names for the same name.
