I remember someone said that movies are another life, or another state of life. I like movies, because of my appreciation and love for art, and I like to indulge in a more refined real world that makes me cry, makes me laugh, and moves me. A cup of tea, a snack, a movie, all three add up to a good weekend.
"Paradise Cinema" is just like the name, it is a nostalgia for the beauty of the past. It tells the story of a little kid in Sicily who loves movies and grows into a well-known director, but the focus is not on a lot of achievements. Thought is the bright spot. Of course, this film is also a good silhouette of the history of film development, with a strong Italian-style religious atmosphere and a touch of nostalgia.
