"Introduction to Architecture" is a romantic movie written and directed by Li Yongzhou and starring Um Tae Woong, Han Ga In, Bae Suzy, and Lee Je Hoon. The film tells the love story of a man and a woman who met in a college introductory architecture class and reunited many years later as architects and clients

Seungmin (Lee Je-hoon), a shy 20-year-old boy, meets Seo-young (Bae Su-ji), a girl in the music department, for the first time in a class of Introduction to Architecture. The two often study together for self-study and gradually become close. However, the implicit Seungmin is not good at expressing his feelings, and he has never been able to summon the courage to confess to Seo Young, which also leads to the latter's misunderstanding, and the two gradually become estranged.

The props set film once again presents the style of the 1990s. First of all, on the exterior scene of the house, the crew found an empty house in the area of Jeongneung, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, which has a feeling of the end of the 20th century; the contemporary part of the house was selected on Jeju Island. Music is also reflected in the times. The famous song "Etude of Memory" by the group "Exhibition" at the end of the 20th century runs through the youth of the hero and heroine, showing the implicit feeling of first love at that time. In order to enhance the atmosphere of the times, the props group also collected all the small objects that can evoke memories of the past, such as hairspray bottles and cartoon dolls that were popular at the time.

The most fundamental reason for the success of this film is to respect life itself.

The film depicts the nostalgic feelings of the 30- to 40-year-old generation in South Korea, and uses interspersed narratives to review the youthful first love when they were young. The seemingly broken fragments completely piece together the truest appearance of love.
