First of all, there is nothing to say about the picture. Although it is a film from the 1990s, the picture is exquisite, the style of painting is completely flawless, and the details are handled well.
Then there's the plot setting, a kingdom of worms, like the world of people, that gives life to the worms, very creative, especially when Felix comes to the underground warehouse of the circus (that's what it's called) That scene, very beautiful picture.
The beauty of Pixar is that it always revolves around the positives, family/dreams...something in life that everyone has and it can be animated. Whether it's Dream Hunting, Robot Story, Flying House Travel Notes, etc., I think they have achieved the delicacy of details and the positive plot, or the love around human nature, the pursuit of dreams, and the warmth of family... In short , it always has something to impress you, let you see your own shadow, or the shadow of the people around you.
Then, I thought about it, why this film has only 7.8 points, and I can only give 8 points.
First of all, because the plot of the film is a bit cliché. This kind of cliché of running away because of a dream and finally realizing it makes me speechless.
Second, the plot doesn't have much bright spots. Why does Xunmenghuan Travel Diary earn so many tears with good reviews? Because it contains = contains, there are background elements, and the most important thing is that it is close to life. The topic of family is very exciting, and the plot has a reversal, which is very pleasant. Although this film has a twist, it is still a typical cliché. It can't be that the bad guy is coming, ah, if I hit him, I can kill him at once. We all know that this is impossible, the bad guy has to die and die for it to fit the plot.
Thirdly, as a Pixar blockbuster, there is nothing special about this film. With the Pixar name on it, audience expectations are high. And the film itself doesn't have many selling points, so the score is not high.
This film is generally good (how many times better than the domestic animation), but if you have to ask, why is a certain domestic animation (not referring to a certain animation here) also so-so, why is it buggy? Crisis is better than him but rated lower than it? I want to say that if you get 60 points in the test every time, other children can get 95 to 100 points every time. If you get 70 points and he gets 95 points, adults will naturally praise you and not praise it. right?
As a Pixar fan, I am not maliciously complaining about Chinese cartoons, but I just want to say, Chinese animators, you have to do your best! I don't spray any Chinese animation here. Many Chinese people think that animation is just for children, very naive or something, I want to tell you here, it is not the case. Animation, like any form of film, can bring positive energy and look as good as a live-action film!
This movie can't be called a surprise, but I guarantee that it won't make you feel boring or vulgar.
This movie review is only my personal opinion, don't spray if you don't like it! If you have any comments, please leave a message. Thank you!
