Dice don't lie.

■18:30~20:10, finished the fantasy drama "I Kill Glants (I Killed Giants)" (UK, US/2017), it is not so much a growth movie with a slightly fantasy thriller style, Rather, it is a gray literary film dressed in a peculiar style. Like many people, I was "tricked" by this extremely eye-catching poster below. In the poster, the astonishing scene of the bunny-eared loli holding an unknown weapon and looking at the face-covering giant is absolutely mind-blowing. But if you really think this film is a sci-fi fantasy because of the poster, you will most likely be disappointed or even deceived after watching the feature film. Fortunately, I was mentally prepared, and I hardly had any expectations, so after reading it, I felt it was not bad. The reasons are as follows: 1. The heroine's extraordinary and awesome personality impressed me quite a lot. More than 60% of the impressions are positive; 2. The school bullying was disintegrated very happily by a powerful counterattack in this film, and I would not be depressed after watching it; 3. Although some plots were protracted and even made me sleepy in the middle, But fortunately, the content of the last half hour includes the sensational part, and it still has a certain charm and depth. It feels like a dark dream in which the "evil" girl has not yet woken up; 4. Some people say that the movie is very similar to the abridged version of "When "The Monster Comes to Knock on the Door", but this film clearly reminds me of the "Crosso Behemoth" I watched last year. I especially liked the unpopular work of Anne Hathaway at that time; 5. "The dice never lie", I love this line; 6. The fictional "Kovsky" and fearless courage, while protecting the independence of personality and a strong mother, this is the state I like; 7. The female vocals and ballads in it are super nice... As for the shortcomings, hey, spare it, low-cost production is so fun, even if the style and positioning are not pleasing to the mainstream audience, I can still get a passing score here. It's just like watching the growth story of a "wonderful girl". If you think about it this way, you will think that this film is actually quite positive. 【Score: 6.5 points/10 points】

  • Taylor: D'you think it's funny to spit on people?

Barbara: Not ha-ha funny, but existentially, yes.

  • Barbara: Ever lose a dog?

Sophia: Yeah. It got hit by a car.

Barbara: Probably not. Probably hors d'oeuvres for a giant.

Sophia: No, my dad backed over it.

    Barbara: Oh. Lucky.
