Gone with the Wind

The two people who could have each other happily had their own things in the end. Just because the happiness of everyone is always the end of the fairy tale that people look forward to, tragedies are always embarrassing. But this tragedy made us think about more things. The story that seems to be completed with only one step is actually doomed to tragedy. The kind of perfection-critical character they share together allows them to see too much imperfection in each other. Such accumulation is silent, but the result is unavoidable.

This also just confirmed the topic. Before reading this book, I never understood what "Gone with the Wind" meant. After reading it, a flash of inspiration suddenly became clear. In fact, it would be better to understand if "gone with the wind" was literally translated as "Gone with the wind".

Gone with the Wind quotes

  • Scarlett: As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again. No, nor any of my folk. If I have to lie, steal, cheat or kill. As God is my witness, I'll never be hungry again.

  • [last lines]

Scarlett: Tara! Home. I'll go home. And I'll think of some way to get him back. After all... tomorrow is another day.
