In the past two days, I re-fired, and when I saw the small theater in the opening of the fourth episode, I still laughed and my stomach hurts. When I looked closely, I found a lot of small details, the most important of which is the role of Sydnor.
Sydnor first pushed the table with Herc outside the door, Carver and McNulty pushed the table inside, and Daniels came and drove him inside. In other words, Sydnor moved the table from the outside as well as from the inside. Generally speaking, people can easily find out whether the people around them are pushing the table or pulling the table, so Sydnor should know that the people on both sides are pushing, but he didn't say anything.
At first I thought it was a bug, but after reading it a few times, I found more details. Sydnor should be the second person who knows that both sides are pushing (the first is Freamon).
1) When several people gave up moving the table, everyone was complaining or analyzing the reasons, only Sydnor and Freamon didn't say a word.
2) When Herc says "at this rate we`re never gonna get it in."
The first two people have surprised expressions, and Sydnor is angry.
3) When everyone realizes what happened,
McNulty: In?
Carver: Unbelievable, unbe-fucking-lievable.
Daniels: Christ.
Sydnor:...
F: (funny)
Sydnor may be thinking, why do I have such a group of pig teammates together, and I am as stupid as the pig teammates.
There is another detail. When Sydnor walked from outside to inside, Freamon, who was watching the play silently next to him, kept his sight on Sydnor.
