Do you still remember "Three Silly Troubles in Bollywood" that was popular ten years ago? This film about Indian education can be called a masterpiece of masterpieces. Aamir Khan performed the genius student Rancher who dared to break the rules and pursued himself in the film to the bottom of his heart. In fact, this Indian national treasure-level all-round actor has directed and acted a movie about children's education - "Stars on Earth" before "Three Silly". That time, he appeared in front of the screen as a teacher.

The little protagonist Ethan is a typical character among children, he is full of curiosity about the world, mischievous and restless.

He happily fished for small fish, but was taken away by the school bus driver.

Throwing the test paper to the dogs, watching them bite the paper, Ethan clapped his hands beside him.

Start eating without washing your hands when you get home.

Playing in my own world, but always being interrupted by my mother.

I deserted in class, and after being reprimanded by the teacher for answering questions aloud, I started to bulabula randomly.…

It's not uncomfortable to be punished to stand, pick your nose and play around outside the door, entertaining yourself.

But Ethan is also an exception among children.

He has dyslexia. In this way, he is unable to correctly identify the written letters, confuses the near words and sounds near words, reads according to his own thoughts at will, and cannot grasp the order of things.

I am in the third grade but can't read. Doing simple multiplication calculations requires imagination. For example: 3*9=__, but Ethan's answer is 3.

Ethan wrote the answer with particular confidence, with pride on his face.

With no math homework done and no papers signed, Ethan skipped school in fear.

But this experience of truancy allowed him to observe this unknown world well.

He watched other fathers take their children to eat popsicles, and saw that his own popsicles fell off.

When I got home, I drew this picture.

Ethan is a clown in the world of learning, but in the world of painting, he is a different person.

In creating, Ethan can feel real joy.

But Ethan couldn't just immerse himself in his own world and be happy.

He is a laughing stock in the eyes of his classmates and a hopeless student in the eyes of his teachers.

It was even considered by the principal to have mental problems.

As a father, he is unwilling to admit that his child has a problem. He immediately contacted a more strictly managed boarding school.

Little Ethan was frightened to have nightmares at night, but even though he swore to his mother to study hard, his parents insisted on sending him away.

Going to boarding school meant Ethan was away from his family for a more rigorous education. In other words, Ethan is no longer free.

How strict are boarding schools?

Desertion will be beaten, and everything must be done according to the standard.

Unable to adjust to boarding school life, Ethan could only cry in the toilet alone.

Ethan is not a student who doesn't work hard, but words are flying in his mind, and he can't learn it.

He was so angry that he threw all the books in the trash.

Scared to the point that the words turned into spiders and attacked him.

No one can understand him and care about him.

You can imagine how helpless he was at this time, and the teacher still blamed him.

I can only run around in circles to vent my emotions, even if my parents come to see him, it doesn't work.

The paintbrush also lost its color in his eyes.

If you met such Ethan, would you believe that he was once so innocent and happy? The answer must be no. This is sad for any child.

In the end, the help that pushes the child to the abyss must come from the abandonment of the family.

When Ethan needed his family's care the most, they never stood by Ethan's side once.

Ethan completely gave up on himself.

Fortunately, his mentor appeared.

Unlike teachers who value rules and standards, Mr. Ram respects the children's psychological needs for playfulness, and leads them to sing and dance as soon as they start class.

He regards painting as a channel for children to express their opinions. There are no rigid tasks in class, and he gives children the opportunity to show their rich imagination.

Once he caught Ethan kneeling outside the classroom, but he stepped forward to ask kindly, but found that Ethan was very scared.

Lamm decides to visit home after learning of Ethan's difficulty with his studies.

After seeing Ethan's painting ability, he clearly knew that Ethan was not a low-minded child in the eyes of others, only he knew that Ethan had dyslexia.

But family members still don't understand the pain that dyslexia brings to their children, and they just want their children to be successful.

But is this really for the children? Do they want their children to be successful, or do they want to use this to show their superiority?

Ram understands Ethan because he also suffered from dyslexia as a child. He knew that as long as he was properly guided, he would be able to correct it.

He cites numerous examples of famous people who have had dyslexia, letting Ethan know he's not the special, bad one.

He asked Ethan to help turn on the lights, making Ethan feel needed.

He praised Ethan and made Ethan regain his self-confidence.

He took his classmates to create outside, and Ethan made a boat out of old things he had collected before.

While everyone applauded him, Ethan walked away silently.

Care is the cure for wounds.

He asked the principal to give Ethan special care, and he slowly taught Ethan to read and write.

Teach Ethan to distinguish similar letters using different colored pens.

He stayed with Ethan until Ethan could write well.

And Ethan's parents are always absent.

Ethan's father saw that Ethan was struggling to read and didn't even have the courage to hug the child, so he could only leave in shame.

In order to restore Ethan's confidence, Ram deliberately held a large-scale drawing competition.

On the day of the game, Ethan woke up early to pack up. Before, he couldn't do these things at all.

He is still the same painting genius he used to be.

Mr. Ram saw Ethan who was seriously creating and began to draw.

Various colors collide magically in Ethan's world, and finally come together into a perfect painting.

Ethan handed the painting to Ram and walked slowly towards the painting.

Ram drew Ethan looking happy.

Needless to say, I am moved in my heart.

In the end, Ethan defeated Ram to take the first place.

Ethan burst into tears as he looked at the certificate, turned and ran to Ram.

This hug contains countless thanks.

Ethan is lucky, he has a teacher who understands him, enlightens him, and a roommate who cares about him. But what about the children who don't have teachers who can help him, who don't care about his deskmates, and who don't even care about his family?

Last year, an article "My child is a scumbag" went viral.

As soon as the article was published, many parents began to reflect on their children's education.

Why are those children with good academic performance, obedient and sensible who are the treasures in the eyes of their parents? Every child is different, they all have their own strengths, and they should all be shining stars.

When we change from children to adults, we should all know that the most precious thing is the innocence in the hearts of children. We need to guard that innocence. At least, don't let it rot prematurely.

Aries Theater, save the drama shortage!
