In the background of Los Angeles in the 1940s, desire was intertwined with power and money. Mickey is a gangster who does all the evil, and his business covers Los Angeles. It can be called a slap in the face, and the police are also embarrassed with him. The chief of police finds Sheriff John, forms a gang to fight violence with violence, and finally brings Mickey to justice.
The biggest problem with the gang headed by John is that the boss doesn't use his brain very much, just blindly do it. I feel that this is the biggest flaw in this film. The first thing the gang is formed is to take down Mickey's casino, and the first action is doomed to failure. As a result, the boss and the members were arrested, but fortunately Jerry stood up in time and rescued the two. Finally Jerry joined the gang.
After Jerry joined, the bandit seemed to have a brain. Soon, the first thing was done. Everyone cooperated to install a bug in Mickey's home, and learned of Mickey's every move.
The gang learned of Mickey's drug hiding place and destroyed Mickey's drugs in one fell swoop. Then the casino was destroyed. Then everyone came together to end Mickey's highlight Eldorado Trust. All the money passed by the casino goes through here.

The big guy joined hands again and forced the judge to sign Mickey's arrest warrant. He broke through the impregnable city and brought Mickey to justice. The arrest of Mickey is a bit fake. The gangsters are like gods, and they can't be killed. I really like Sean Penn’s acting skills, a spit-out sheriff.
