sadness or relief

The most pleasant days are always to watch movies unscrupulously on the sofa, without worrying about other people's feelings, just watch your favorite subject matter.

Last week, I collected a bunch of new films, and randomly picked one called "Powder Blue", which was more or less aimed at the more gorgeous cast.

On Christmas Eve one year, California was unbearably hot -- the forecast said a cold snap would drop California's temperature by 25 degrees over the next few days.

A frustrated and obscure black man who was determined to die but couldn't kill himself because of his beliefs. He drove his car around downtown all night long, with his life savings of $50,000 in the back of the car, and beside him was a two-shot bomb. pistol. He was looking for his target among the gang of prostitutes, gamblers, vagabonds on the street--another desperate man, another fearless man who was willing to earn the money to give him a shot in the heart.

A single mother who uses the name Scarlet as a stripper in a bar every night. Her dance is filled with struggle and deep pain. She hangs up the phone in the hospital ward every night and tells her young vegetative son "I love you, you are my sweet pea...". Then she was submerged in the cramped tub of the motel and in tears, the only one with her was a Dalmatian named Rudy.

A former killer who has served for 25 years and was recently released from prison. He is middle-aged and suffering from stomach cancer, and his time is short. He embarks on his quest with a suitcase handed over to him by his former gangster brother, containing some belongings and money left by his beloved woman.

There is also a young and weak man who inherited the family's coffin business, kind and shy. In addition to the coffin funeral business, his father's death left him with a large debt. The coffin shop may have to be auctioned at any time to repay the debt, but he still couldn't bear to urge customers to pay the due funeral expenses earlier. Asthma can be triggered by nervousness, and only a few marionettes accompany him.

There is also a man who wears a wig and paints heavy makeup all day long, hoping to have the money to do sex reassignment surgery and truly have a daughter. Because he can't get love, he cuts his wrists but fails to die.
There is also a divorced, middle-aged waitress, who calmly but diligently pursues her love.

This group of unfortunate people, on this Christmas Eve, met by chance -- and finally got their own redemption.

In fact, it's still just a clichéd, old-fashioned love and redemption themed film -- even a bit hypocritical and sensational -- but the story of this lonely grandfather is still eye-watering. He followed a bar card left to him by his lover to the bar, and found that his daughter was a popular stripper there. He watched her dance in astonishment, he followed her every day, and he slipped into the ward to see himself The comatose grandson, he saw that his daughter was poor and stole out-of-print toys for his son in the ward but was caught, so he lied in time and paid for her. He knew that his daughter wanted to go to Paris, so he bought a toy for Paris. He wanted to give her the ticket, but was resolutely refused. When his grandson's health deteriorated sharply and the treatment failed, he paid all the medical bills for his daughter and worked hard to find her whereabouts, and finally sat paralyzed. In the backstreet of the bar where his daughter danced, heavy snow fell that night -- light blue snow and ice slag were flying. A photo of a young woman and a little girl -- smiling so brightly. Then, the photo just fell from his hand.

He died without telling anyone who he was and how much he loved his daughter and grandson. . .

The camera suddenly turned, he opened his eyes again, but it was on a blue sea and sandy beach, and then he saw the cute little blond boy not far away - his grandson, with a pair of big eyes he had never seen before, smiling at him .

Grandparents and grandsons fly red kites together in this piece of paradise - the picture is so light and the emotion is so strong.

The Chinese titles displayed in many resources are translated as "Blue Powder".
But powder blue is actually a color, light gray-blue -- a color that may be sad or relieved.

ps: The soundtracks are amazing -- especially The Werewolf with Scarllet's dancing body...
