The relationship between The Plan and Calradiga's main drama is a bit like the relationship between "Flag of the Fathers" and "Letters from Iwo Jima." See the entire war from Cylon's point of view, from start to finish. However, the whole film is rough, more like a reference book for "Galactica". Maybe the screenwriter didn't dig enough for Cylon's thoughts and religion. The most important thing is the introspection and struggle of the five prophets. At the end, the tangle of Cylon and human cooperation is not touched. I think it's just a matter of haste.
