A good film needs a wealth of experience to discover

I watched this film for the first time last year and gave it three stars. At that time, I really couldn't understand why it could become a classic film.
Until something happened a few days ago, it turned out to be the one that flashed in the sea. Maybe everyone has this experience once. When we like and admire the powerful person in our hearts, we occasionally ponder and find that he is also a member of the privileged class that I despise and fantasize about overthrowing. We are painful and helpless, we give up our pursuit and continue to be attached to him, or we reluctantly leave to pursue the idea in our hearts. Whatever you choose, you're always going to lose something important.
I deliberately modified the evaluation and added one more star. A good movie really needs a lot of experience to discover. Some feelings have to be experienced in order to resonate.
Maybe the first time you saw it, it was the same as me, so don't give up on it, one day you will be surprised by its light.

  • Hubbell Gardner: You never give up, do you?

Katie Morosky Gardner: Only when I'm absolutely forced to. But I'm a very good loser...

Hubbell Gardner: Better than I am.

Katie Morosky Gardner: Well, I've had... more practice.
