The heaviest punishment is not death, but death. The lawyer's escape is temporary. The old man's surveillance video will show everything to the police. The female lawyer will eventually fall into the legal net. There is no death penalty in the United States. What awaits her is a lifetime of repentance and a lifetime of missing her son. The female lawyer is the most critical part of wade's death. She is the only one who really blamed Wade for being behind bars and eventually died. Repent, come to experience the pain of losing a child.
