Cannes chose this film as the Gay Palme d'Or more or less because of the metaphors seen in it, integrating sin and homosexuality. The color of the film is gentle, and some sex scenes are also particularly bold, which makes men look more daring. Love is described vividly. Watch this with an open mind. Some people in the world need to live a sneaky life, just like the gay community has been kept in the closet and is not accepted by the world. In addition, it makes us feel what love is all about. Michel's behavior is quite mysterious because of love. Henri's protection of love, even if it's not very impressive, put the love between the lines, hoping that Frank can feel it. In the end, more or less he saw that what happened by the lake was not as beautiful as he imagined, love could be destroyed in an instant, and the "beauty" he saw was just an illusion in the end.
