Yet another typical Charlie Kaufman film, and like his other works, the seemingly absurd exterior is wrapped in a thought-provoking connotation. The entire film focuses on Lila, Nathan and Puff's struggles and swings between the so-called noble civilized humanity and the seemingly savage bestiality. The title of "human nature" is also very off topic. Human nature is the natural human nature, but human nature inhibits people from doing what is true to nature. What a contradiction.
