Past – Paris, Texas

A man did not speak at all until his brother appeared and drove him to his brother's house. His younger siblings and his own son were waiting for him, and he could not remember the past. The son also did not accept him and refused to communicate with him in depth. For the first time, he went to pick up his son, who got into his classmate's car. The second time, he went to trim his father's hair and put on his father's clothes, and the son walked home with him. It does not mean that the father is the father who has blood, and the father who fulfills the responsibility of the father. He took his son to find his wife, the child's mother, but he left. A lot of things changed over time, the expected reunion did not appear, he could never go back to the past, he drove the car and left. A happy family makes a group of happy people, and an unhappy family makes a group of unhappy people.

The ending clip (from 1h20min to the end) is a perfect five-star clip in my heart. The dialogue between the two is about self-examination and remorse for each other during the 4-year blank period. The clear blue sky and the leisurely white clouds, but life is not so clean. Who doesn't have a cloudy past? Listening to your words is better than 4 years of love. Love never leaves, just a window.

When Travis told you the reason in a straightforward manner at the end, you suddenly discovered that this story is so simple, easy to understand and boring. The emotions surrounding this story are bottomless, because a story is a frame, and the flesh and blood in the frame is life, and life is like this. So when you analyze it seriously, you are disappointed.

Walt Henderson: You know - What?

    Travis Henderson: Paris. Paris?

    Walt Henderson: Paris?

Travis Henderson: Did you ever go to Paris?

    Walt Henderson: No.

Travis Henderson: Could we go there now?

Walt Henderson: It's a little out of the way. Ah, no, I've never even been to Europe. Anne keeps wanting to go there. Well, she's from France, you remember? But, we never seem to find the time; because, my company keeps me kind of busy.
