Reasons to love this film

1 Eva Green, oh Eva Green. I think I'm gay now.
2 The superpowers, or peculiarities if we speak Tim Burton instead of Marvel/DC
3 The skinny pale girls
4 The skinny pale protagonist
5 The cute little children, especially the boy who dreams mainly about clothes
6 The annoying dude with a cute Scottish accent
7 How they set the whole thing in Wales
8 How the characters complain about Wales
9 The entire reset scene (Are you my mummy?-Sorry I just couldn't resist .)
10 The scene where the skeletons beat the shit out of the hollows (reminds me of Shaun of the Dead)
11 How SLJ complains about having to pose as a psychiatrist in Florida for three weeks and pretend to watch (the goddam) birds in (freaking) Wales for three days
12 How they killed off Dame Judi Dench's character within three minutes (sorry but that WAS kinda funny)
13 Chris O'Dowd is adorable

One of the best films I've seen this year. Feels like Doctor Who meeting Blood and the Cornetto. An enjoyable watch.

I really like the setting of the grotesque dark wind, and the biggest slot should be the procrastination of the rhythm.

The strange story in the first half is very good, the bleak pillow story and old photos, the special children in the wartime environment reveal the loneliness of the Zwei format. The second half of the battle began to become boring, time travel was sloppy, the villain was too weak, the atmosphere of terror was not enough, and the ending was particularly bad. The transparent person who doesn't like to wear clothes and Emma who can float in the air should be the pretty girl Remedes from "One Hundred Years of Solitude".

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children quotes

  • Emma Bloom: If I show you the rest, you have to promise not to run away.

  • Barron: [Emma is keeping Baron pinned against a wall by using her perculiarity] Eventually you're gonna run out of breath. And then it'll be all over. Death for your beloved Jake, and Miss Peregrine. Everlasting life for me.

[Barron takes a whiff of Emma's breath]

Barron: Ewww. And a mint for you!
