If you don't have a theme, don't impose a title

I went to watch this movie on a whim, saying it was a tribute to The Beatles, which was a small feeling before John Lennon's 80th birthday. Yesterday, heyJude... are all classics, just like the other two fans who remember the Beatles said, the world cannot live without their music. It's hard to imagine what it would be like if John Lennon lived to be 78 years old peacefully in his chalet by the sea? For world art, there are more stories, or one less meaningful. The conversation at the seaside chalet was tearful, Jack and Rocky retraced their footsteps in Liverpool's Strawberry Fields and Ruby Cemetery, and the music festival scene was throbbing. Be sure to go abroad to listen to music festivals, be sure to drive on a lush road with someone who fits your soul, equip a set of speakers with excellent sound effects, play the music we all love, and keep driving, no matter the south , North, East or West, as long as it is our common direction. In fact, I'm not really a fan of Beatles, and I've only recently fallen in love with rock music, but every time the music plays, I still get cold and goosebumps all over my body. Finally, 78-year-old "John" has to tell the truth when he can. I hope you can do it all the time without breaking your heart.

It would be fine if Coca-Cola suddenly disappeared from the world, we still have Pepsi; it would be a shame if Harry Potter was never written, but we still have The Lord of the Rings ; but if you google 'The Beatles' and you just get all sorts of pictures of beetles, I'd say the world sucks. Here's Boyle's fun idea: after a 12-second global blackout, only one person still remembers Coca-Cola, Harry Potter, and the Beatles (similarly, Oasis and Penicillin should have disappeared too) laugh). But Boyle screwed it all up, and he managed to make the audience "watch it with tears and laughter" not because of the cliché in the film, but because the audience saw 78-year-old John Column Lennon, heard Paul's soundtrack of "Hey Jude", and, who would be indifferent to a down-and-out singer who was hit by a bus and played "Yesterday" with his guitar on his back? That scene was so charming.

Yesterday quotes

  • Jack Malik: Thanks for taking such good care of me.

Ellie Appleton: You're welcome. I'll come back later.

Jack Malik: Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm 64?

Ellie Appleton: I don't know. I'll think about it. Why 64?

Jack Malik: What do you mean?

Ellie Appleton: It's just - oh, forget it.

  • Jack Malik: I didn't ask to be The Beatles, you know, I just wanted once to have a standing ovation not given by people who were already standing at the bar.

    Ellie Appleton: Be the what?
