When the creation of the film comes to an end, how to end the story becomes a big problem. Because the manga version was not over at that time, even Miyazaki himself didn't know how to finish it. Considering that "Nausicaa" is a commercial film, its ending should be filled with the climax of the whole film. Suzuki Toshio and Takahata Hoon devised three plans: Plan A: King bug attack, Nausicaa landed in front of the team, and the film ended. Plan B: The king worm attacks, Nausicaa is overwhelmed by the king worm team, and the Valley of the Wind is destroyed. Plan C: The king worm attacks, and Nausicaa is submerged by the king worm, and then reborn. In the end, Toshio Suzuki and Takahata decided on plan C, and the director Hayao Miyazaki also agreed to it.
