Affair. depression. Brainless idiot beauty. Let go of the little witch. Scum man. Treasure boy. call. careless Whisper. Candor that pays the price. obscenity. pure. Suspicion. evidence. frustration. rash. new love. clear. educate. enlightened. ……Fail. ...God (screenwriter? Director? Soderbergh anyway) is kind.
After going around for a long time, it turns out that the director is still a kind-hearted director. Lies don't matter, wounds are thrown aside, two innocent people come together, pure love, simple :)
Cast: Andie McDowell, don't know the rest. The actor who played Andy's sister had seen it in the movie book and recognized the face. The actor playing Andy's second spring looks like Hanson's Taylor, with curly blond hair, an apple face, and big flickering eyes. Well, the humble version of Taylor :P

Educational films have always been known for their "modernity". It now appears that the problems that plagued the United States more than a decade ago are now a topic that everyone can talk about, especially the young generation of China who has been over-ingested. I think it is a very serious film that discusses issues such as sexual psychology, marriage and family ethics, and its exquisite structure is the highlight of this film.

Sex, Lies, and Videotape quotes

  • Ann: Nothing's what I thought it was. John's a bastard. Let's make a videotape.

    Graham: No, I... ahem... I don't think that's a good idea.

    Ann: Why not?

Graham: Because I don't think it's a choice that you'd make in a normal frame of mind.

Ann: And what would you know about a normal frame of mind?

  • Ann: So let me see, you said, um, you said that I should never take advice from someone that I haven't had sex with, right... right?

    Graham: Basically.

Ann: Right. And, uh, *we* haven't had sex...

    [giggle]

    Ann: right?

    Graham: So...

Ann: So, I, I, I guess from your own advice, I shouldn't take your advice.

    Graham: I wouldn't.
