Very high-end Italian humor.
The process of watching this movie is really just a comedy movie, and I am occasionally amused by the plot in it. It is not until I finish watching it that I slowly understand the deep meaning of the film. At first, I wondered if there was a problem with the translation of the title "Where I'm Going", but now I realize that this is a man who is obsessed with the government's iron job. Questions arising from difficult circumstances. From the male protagonist's ex-girlfriend and his family's dog legs to the male protagonist's father teaching him how to avoid not signing the resignation report... All of them satirize government work. Everyone thinks that the "iron rice bowl", a family has no worries about food and clothing , the male protagonist has also persisted and never gave up. When I watched it, I really reacted like the savages (?) who listened to his stories. Occasionally angry, and occasionally I thought he could be saved? But fortunately, he made the right decision in the end, and everyone was happy at the end. The entire film describes races, civilizations, or different ideals of people. It is full of laughter and makes people think about how to think about "where am I going" if I were in that situation.
