Virgin Queen Elizabeth I

The film mainly tells the story of Queen Elizabeth I of England. The journey from princess to queen is not easy. The only thing she was criticized for during her reign was the heir. She never married or gave birth to offspring in her life, so history calls her "married to the woman she should be", and hence the nickname "Virgin Queen". Although she is a "virgin queen", it does not mean that she does not have a boyfriend. In the film, some of her personal life and tears behind the throne are introduced. As a queen who was pushed to the political arena, facing the wrestling between European countries, she must remind her to deal with it with 120,000 spirits. Her lover is to give her comfort when she is tired, but her lover can't be her husband after all, because it is not in the interests of the noble marriage. In the end, she had no choice but to become a person who "married" her own country.

I feel that the queen had to give up a man to marry England because she was hurt by a scumbag. This kind of court drama routine reduces the pattern to a very small size. One of the greatest queens in British history, made into a movie and put the emotional drama as the main point, has dropped the price. Historians are pissed

The great love history of the virgin queen, the killing of the power field began with the cutting off of the pagan conspiracy and the realization of the independence and self-reliance of the Anglo marine system. The film is really bad. Although I have seen a lot of historical interpretations, it is still a serious and entertaining work. The fun represented in the middle is really low.

Elizabeth quotes

  • [Elizabeth presents her ideas of religious reform to Parliament; the bishops are outraged and begin to argue]

First Bishop: Madam, by this act... by this act, you force us to relinquish our allegiance to the Holy Father.

Elizabeth: How can I force you, Your Grace? I am a woman.

    [Bishops laugh]

Elizabeth: I have no desire to make windows into men's souls. I simply ask, can any man, in truth, serve two masters, and be faithful to both?

    [Bishops start to argue again]

Bishop #2: Madam, this-this is heresy!

Elizabeth: No, Your Grace, this is... common sense.

    [Bishops murmur in semi-agreement]

Elizabeth: Which is a most English virtue.

    [Bishops laugh]

  • Sir Francis Walsingham: Your Grace is arrested. You must go with these men to the Tower.

Norfolk: I must do nothing by your orders. I am Norfolk!

Sir Francis Walsingham: You were Norfolk.

Sir Francis Walsingham: [shows him his own signature on the treasonous letter from Rome]

Sir Francis Walsingham: The dead have no titles.
