There are two places that are quite touching. One is the miserable look on the skinny hero's face when he is banned from meeting his son. Second, the fat man's wife said firmly, "I want to see you dance a striptease." At that moment, I felt that the pain and joy of life seemed to be condensed here.
However, since this film won the Best Picture at the British Academy Awards that year, and was nominated for Best Picture and Best Director at the Oscars that year, I had high expectations for this film. But as a result, I was slightly disappointed. It seems that the mood is too dull, but maybe life is like this, a touch of joy, a touch of sorrow.
