I originally expected this to be just a set of compact police and gangster movies that can be cool. It turned out to be a very dark humor (not an ordinary knowing smile, but a hilarious laugh) and a genre movie with no plot or even a little offbeat.
In terms of the plot, one sentence can be over: in San Francisco, the wives are unlucky and hard to explore the West, Dirty Harry VS the otaku version of the murderer's Clockwork Orange Alex the sniper.
Then why does this movie have such an immortal status in the hearts of movie fans? Dasha is the stylized cool and laugh in the film.
Cool: Dirty Harry's golden sentence, that 44-merlin, that tangled hair and old-fashioned outfit, acrid dialogue and crazy life-killing attitude. Most importantly, to some extent, he represents a hint of anti-establishment.
Laughter: ridiculous super coincidence plot, deliberately shaped black humor (such as stalking the gangster but being mistaken for a voyeur by the neighborhood (the scene is really laughed on the left)), taking some social "weirds" (such as homeless people, homosexuals) , Religious fanatics) to joking, distorted expressions...
Then, you will find that even if a movie has no plot, character creation, big scenes, special effects... it can be very entertining, but it is indeed a deep learning. .
The San Francisco in the PS film is always sunny during the day, with distinct colors, not at all like the 70s. It's as if time has always refused to flow.
PPS I believe that this movie will be very interesting if it is remade~ If you can make a Hong Kong version, look for Ren Dahua to play Dirty Harry against the nerdy, corrosive liquid fanatic Huang Qiusheng~Super fun~
