Just finished reading "The Bridge to Trebizia", a work that touches the heart.
After reading the introduction, I realized that this is also a novel adaptation, and it is a novel with far-reaching influence in the United States.
Since I haven't read the original work, I will talk about my feelings about the film:
1. Life can be happy and simple, but life is full of many unknown troubles and disasters. Through the abstract fantasy, the work tells us to face everything and open our hearts.
2. As the plot unfolds step by step, I slowly fall in love with a lot of it, and I remember the bits and pieces of my childhood. The melancholy boy, the boring housework, the mediocre schoolwork, suddenly changed wonderfully, Leslie's unique personality, rich imagination, unconcealed innocence and enthusiasm suddenly infected the boy and infected me. Unfortunately, good things are always fleeting, Leslie disappears, and the world of two people becomes lonely again. Pain, depression, and regret. When you finally realize that everything will be impossible to change or restore, reinvigorate yourself and let everything continue to be beautiful and magical. All this happened to a young man, how can people not feel full of emotion.
3. The work has a strong western color. Encouragement, tolerance, the pursuit of ideals, and the plot is natural and fascinating throughout.
I sincerely hope that we can learn these works that encourage and educate children.
Finally, recommend it to all friends. I wish every child can grow up smoothly.

Damn, watching the trailer, I thought it was a movie about the magic ring theme, but after watching it, I thought it was a fucking magical movie! But it's a story of growth, you need to use that in the trailer Poor special effects to hype magic?

The world of childhood, how hard it was originally, is full of infinite possibilities that adults have long forgotten. In the end, the scene where Jesse takes her sister to Terabithia is the most luxurious "magic" scene in the whole play, but it is also the most moving scene regardless of the scene. When we grow up, what we lose is more than the imaginary world of the bridge.

Bridge to Terabithia quotes

  • Leslie Burke: You're lucky to have a sister.

Jesse Aarons: Yeah, I got four of 'em, and I'd trade 'em all for a good dog.
