The earth is the homeland of human beings, but can human beings claim to be the masters of the earth? No!
Dinosaurs ruled the earth for 170,000 years. An accidental planetary collision caused such a powerful overlord life to disappear forever on the earth.
The earth determines the fate of living beings. The violent movement of the earth's crust and the catastrophic disasters flying in space. In the face of these earth-shattering catastrophes, human beings are just tiny creatures living on the surface of the earth, powerless to resist.
But human beings are on their way to a dead end step by step, constantly mining and burning coal formed from the Carboniferous period, oil and natural gas formed from the remains of ancient mayflies, and continuously releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere at a high speed. Human beings have only a few short decades in their lives and cannot see the great changes in the vicissitudes of life, but this is by no means an excuse for our stupidity.
Episode 10: The Legendary Life of Michael Faraday
Michael Faraday is known as the "Father of Electricity" and "Father of Alternating Current". He was born in poverty, but he was self-taught and made great contributions to electromagnetism. Faraday invented the motor and generator. His invention allowed electricity to enter thousands of households, liberated the labor force, and opened the electric age of mankind.
Faraday experimentally confirmed the interaction of light and magnetism. Interestingly, after thousands of failed attempts, the medium that finally made the experiment succeed was glass. Episode 11: The Immortality of Life
Every civilization must have its own heroic story. Heroes are symbols of breaking the shackles of human beings.
But how long does a civilization live? Egyptian civilization, Indian civilization, Mayan civilization... We can only find traces of these extinct civilizations from the existing languages and myths.
Civilization appears so fragile before natural and man-made disasters. With the rapid development of human technology, we may be able to predict the explosion of supernovae and change the orbit of asteroid impact, but shortsighted behavior in the economy and society lacks foresight, but even 100 years later, the basic living environment of the earth's descendants cannot be guaranteed. In 100 years, will the sky still be blue?
