the first lady

The American "First Lady" Jacqueline in the film can no longer interpret her four-day experience with a double-sided life. She is almost a multi-faceted, three-dimensional and complex woman. She herself told the media: "I know a lot about politics and the media." That's why she appeared so calm when facing the pressure of the new US government officials. If it were an ordinary woman, she would have been led by the nose long ago by powerful government agencies. Of course, this is not to praise Jacqueline's character sketch, in fact, the theme of the film is not intended to have any intentional orientation. Instead, we see a contradictory woman who is the opposite of the typical atmosphere.

This movie is so fitting for an actor as narcissistic as Portman. The Chinese translation is more accurate than the title itself - because Jackie's life after the bereavement is still very colorful (with the Greek ship king or something). In short, after watching the short, big and tight show, I really don't believe in the love of these leftists - no matter how great my husband is, I still can't love him anymore after getting married.

Why Emma Stone won the Oscar for the heroine?

Jackie quotes

  • Jackie Kennedy: There are two kinds of women, those who want power in the world and those who want power in bed.

  • The Priest: There comes a time in man's search for meaning when one realises that there are no answers. And when you come to that horrible, unavoidable realization, you accept it or you kill yourself. Or you simply stop searching... I have lived a blessed life. And yet every night, when I climb into bed, turn off the lights, and stare in to the dark, I wonder... Is this all there is?

    Jackie Kennedy: You wonder?

The Priest: Every soul on this planet does. But then, when morning comes, we all wake up and make a pot of coffee.

Jackie Kennedy: Why do we bother?

The Priest: Because we do. You did this morning, you will again tomorrow. But God, in his infinite wisdom, has made sure it is just enough for us.
