Last semester, I added the book "Murder on the Orient Express" to my WeChat reading shelf, but I only read the beginning of it in a chemistry class and never read it again. I was ashamed until yesterday. I learned that this book actually has a movie of the same name after being recommended by senior pickles, so I quickly read it.
I watched the British version in 1974. The British accent of most people in the film is really not as good as the accent in the current British drama, so it adds a lot of fun, and you will laugh when you listen to it.
Because of the age, this Orient Express is not as imposing as I imagined, and the space is a bit cramped. The 2017 version should be much better than this. However, the pictures created by the combination of various characters in the film completely overshadow these objective factors. Each frame of shots composed of characters of different classes and statuses can reflect many real life looks, as shown below. It's one of those little shots of a few seconds.
As for the plot, I can only say that it was beyond my expectations. When the film progressed to 1/4, that is, when the victim was just killed, I took a screenshot of the following two pictures, thinking that when I knew the ending, I would look at the expressions of the murderer in these two pictures at that time. After actually watching the movie, I came back to watch these two scenes, the wife is very meaningful. I won't spoil it here, you must watch it if you are curious. If you can't watch the old version, go and watch the new version, you won't be disappointed.
If there is anything about this film that makes me feel a little difficult, it is that the lighting of the picture is a little dark, especially the black rumbling at the beginning, which makes me wonder if there is something wrong with my eyesight. Furthermore, there are too many names and it is difficult to remember, and it is difficult to match the face and the character. I only really remember which is the detective when I see the person being interrogated. Of course, this is probably my personal reason, I am still too weak. .
The last picture is one of the male characters I think is the best looking in the whole film, Pierre the conductor. The female characters in the film all have their own characteristics, and their dress and appearance are really aristocratic.
It's a movie worth watching. The original book must be very exciting, but I don't know if I will be interested in watching the original book in the future. After all, I already know the most dramatic ending hahaha.
