The Morning Show

Nemesis Benjamin Clementine

Jennifer is still Rachel no matter how you look at it, Friends is too classic.

It can be said that everyone's acting skills in Friends are so good that the public's attention has not been able to get out of their roles for 25 years; or their own personalities are very suitable for the characters in Friends, and they were playing themselves back then.

But in any case, even Jennifer herself has repeatedly stated that she cannot escape Rachel's shadow. Although she acted in a lot of dramas after that, this drama is yet another challenge to her.

At first I really thought this was Rachel 20 years later, but my filter was too deep, and I loved her role as Rachel so much that I didn't care if Jennifer played a new role. This love made me label her (love is a double-edged sword), subconsciously thinking that she is still the role of Rachel, but the title of the play has been changed.

The first two episodes are indeed the same. I didn't have much expectations for this drama, I just used it as a background sound to casually watch the light soap opera played by my favorite actress, I didn't want to think of it as anything" Change your life" is a successful learning drama.

[Spit bad:

Why does she act like Rachel in any role, because no matter the age of her modeling, her classic expression has never changed. It's too hard to make expressions (it's no wonder that her forehead lines are heavier), and she likes to open her eyes with force.

And the two heroines of this show are very similar.

Both Jennifer and Reese love to make sad puppy expressions with pouty lips and frowning brows (Reese does more in big little lies. Look at her incumbent every time she makes a mistake), this look can make you look good and rich Emotional pupils are more attractive and can make thin lips look more prominent. (Suddenly remembered that Reese played Rachel's sister Jill in Friends)]

In this way, I thought the heroine was very simple, thinking that she was the brainless and indecisive American sweetheart in Friends who was just a vase, but slowly I found that her character has changed in this drama. A mature, sensible and brainy heroine who may be slanted (I still can't escape the Reachel character) turned out to be a big heroine.

The first scene portrays her as very emotional, vulnerable, incapable of pressure, and loses her temper. But it will soon be seen that behind these character behaviors is a mature and rational person, and along with the tangled feelings of the heroine, the emotions of various characters and the relationships behind them are gradually revealed.

Starting from the transformation of the heroine's career, Mitch's story also runs through the whole situation.

The ep 4 interview really changed my mind about the show. From a story about the situation in the workplace to a focal issue of corporate culture and social atmosphere - MeToo.

After that, I found that this drama can only really express a little more than I thought, not more profound, just more comprehensive. The characters in the play make various choices and judgments because of their different interests and moral values, which well reflects the diversity of contemporary viewpoints.

These different viewpoints are both right and wrong, but because of the different positions, even we who are in the perspective of God are not clear and cannot judge what is right and what is wrong, and the degree of wrongness: a little wrong or a big one Very wrong.

"It's A truth"

"The culture that make it's impossible to complain"

"I didn't say anything b/c I don't want anybody to know"

"losing respect for me"

When these remarks and opinions are expressed from different characters, it is better to experience the same issue from different perspectives.

A terrifying real-time story from a woman's perspective: Sometimes, because you don't want to be seen as a victim, or because you're afraid of being embarrassed or looked down upon, you'd rather be seen as you ask for it.

As for Hannah, from the beginning she thought her talent was appreciated and noticed that she was being used by Mitch for her favor. She was angry but at a loss, but she couldn't bear to take advantage of her anger to seek shelter from the leader, but she was suddenly caught The advantage was bought; she was helpless, and the moment Mitch pinned her down, she had lost the initiative, whether she voluntarily or coerced. Because whether you want to admit it or not, this is still a world dominated by men.

Even, she was persuaded by Mitch to admit that she was the winner. But did she really gain more than she lost? Can what she lost really be measured by her career?

The only regret is that she was free to speak her mind to Bradley, but to Mitch she lost the sharpness of her true feelings. But it is this point that further reflects the importance of MeToo. Many people, many women, choose to follow the crowd because they can't express themselves and dare not speak out, because this is the way the society is. Not to mention men, even women will look at the victims of betrayal of their bodies in a different way. They have no way to tell, even though they are suffering great pain and anxiety in their hearts, they can only keep silent, because the words that you ask for it, you deserve it are the vile words that you ask for it, you deserve it, except for the useless comfort and pity that you don't need. distorted their true thoughts.

♥ When Mia made a public announcement in season 7, she took really good shots of the expressions of every woman present.

♥ The heartfelt voice roared to my daughter: Who owes whom? Our efforts are immeasurable, and there is no way to compare who has sacrificed more.

This version of Creep is so good, so is Stronger, but I can't find the version in the play
