Prose poetic narrative

If you think you are watching a super long MV, you don't have to doubt it, this is definitely a Harmony Korine movie. Dreamy, fanciful, and poetic. The style has not changed since the beginning. From the early portable photography of Golden Retriever and Dogme, to the "Mr. Lonely" tribute to the idol star, the distinctive author logo has never faded. The splicing techniques of aerial lens, ultra-slow photography, separation of sound and picture, and time and space interlaced all make the audience lost in the beautiful near-zero narrative picture.

And this new work can definitely be regarded as the most complete and smooth "story". Few directors deal with youth themes in this way. All I can think of is the weird classic Ghost World. The freedom, madness, confusion, darkness, adventure and perseverance of adolescence are fully explained in the prose poetic narrative. This time, the effect of the MV technique is unobtrusive, and it is even a natural fit with this theme, which is enough to witness that the author of Harmony Korine has matured and reached an aesthetic level that shakes the soul. The scene where four people sang Everytime around the piano unexpectedly moved me. I have never heard of Britney Spears having such a beautiful song, just as I heard that Crying in "The True Story of the Golden Retriever", only to know that there is a man named Roy in the world. Orbison's superstar!

Of course, some exaggerated interpretations of the leading actor in the play make me unbearable, and I can only start from this.
