The Land Forsaken by God is actually a place that has been polluted by a large area underground. So the gods did not dare to answer, whether it was a prayer or a real name.
"It was his belief that he felt the presence of God only in the face of death."
That's probably what this movie is trying to say. Every lunatic who kills in the play feels that this is his belief in the name of God.
"It is our fantasies that lead us to sin."
When I read it, I always felt that every pastor was a lunatic, cheating women, and no one was sober. It felt too depressing.
Too many people died from start to finish, I think, maybe...
This is probably a movie about death education.
I always feel that I still can't understand the deep meaning, and I plan to read the original novel again.
