I did finish watching Seven Swords. Tsui Hark should belong to a well-known director.
Yet it really is a movie that is nothing.
If it is a martial arts film, even with Donnie Yen joining in, its action design is completely sloppy, and the actions of other actors can only be described as slow. Donnie Yen is my favorite martial arts star, but it's a waste in this film.
If it is a feature film, the plot is too simple, the dialogue is not new, and some of the flashbacks are even more superfluous.
If it's a romance movie, I'm sorry, I didn't see it.
If it's a sci-fi movie, either my imagination is too bad, or the computer effects are too bad.
If it must be given a type definition, I think it is the unrestricted level, and if it must be given an age limit at this level, I think it is under 10 years old.
