There are very humorous scenes from time to time in this suspense drama: black and white have separate meetings to discuss how to catch the murderer, each with a gloomy face, and the house is filled with cigarettes; the underworld broke into the office building, knocked out the security guard, broke the door lock, and chiseled the floor. A big hole, leaving an empty building after escaping, which made me want to laugh; the child murderer shouted at the underworld crowd: "I ask to hand me over to the police"... Peter Lorre's acting skills are amazing.
