When I first saw this movie, I thought it was just a family comedy. But when I saw that the family of four, except Paula, were all deaf and mute, my heart skipped a beat. Deaf-mute people are one of the few people in our lives that cannot be ignored, but this family has a colorful life despite being deaf-mute. The whole film is filled with a positive atmosphere. I like this type more. Yes, so I directly give 2 stars. There are not many characters in the film, and the relationship is easy to understand. With Paula as the protagonist, her campus life and family life are linked together, and the final contradiction is also settled on these two parts. The actor Paula has shown the youthfulness that Paula should have at her age, her ignorance of the opposite sex, her family's contradictions and embarrassments, and her yearning for a new world, which made me feel a sense of reading characters while watching the movie. Autobiographical feeling. The overall story has two lines, one is the Paula family line. Here is mainly Paula's father running for mayor, Paula's family fights with him and works hard together. When Paula's father said that he was going to run for mayor, the family did not resist rejecting the card, but instead cheered up and helped his father run. Another line of the story is that Paula studied with her teacher and sang hard for her dreams and future. Both lines are positive! All show that Paula is not only growing up in the family, but also exploring her own profession. The last two lines meet, Paula explained to her parents with her actions, "My choice is not to escape, but to fly away!"
