The legend of opening and hanging, is it only cool?

Asan likes to hang up, as everyone knows.

We can try it out and treat Baahubali as a visual legend, not as a movie, so that all the plug-ins will not be obtrusive, on the contrary, you will think, this is very Ahsan.

I watched the beginnings of Baahubali a few years ago, when I was new to Indian movies, and I can still recall the surprise when the protagonist climbed the cliff like a god with such ease. After reading the final chapter today, I can finally face those unbelievable plots with equanimity, because it is unbelievable that it can be called a legend, and it depicts grand dynasties and bloody machinations like an epic. The legend is the layer filter, which may be able to filter out the embarrassment and find a rhythm of the story in the numerous slow motion.

It's flawed, of course, but it makes my blood boil just as well. The color scheme and costumes of this film are beyond my imagination, the bright light and shadow are sticky and vivid. I don't know much about Indian culture and history, so I can't make a deeper evaluation of the film's connotation, but when I first saw it, the heroic image that was completely different from the Chinese cultural system gave me a great shock. From King Baahubali, I can feel India's worship of power. The part that impressed me the most is that the protagonist carried the colossus of Shiva on his shoulders and moved it from the shore to the waterfall. The epic soundtrack sounded, and he was in the middle of the boulder. Dancing with the splash, the wildness is released and sputtered. This impact was extraordinary for a small audience like me at the time.

In fact, when it comes to the plot, what impresses me the most is the mutual commitment between the characters. These commitments form twisted bonds and contradictions that push the story to a climax. Every promise is so heavy, and every promise is fulfilled at the cost of life and death. When the last promise was finally fulfilled, the real Baahubali finally returned to the throne, announcing the end of the legend.

If there is good news and bad news, which one do you listen to first? Baahubali will tell you, "Speak together, let me decide whether the news is good or bad." The film is the same, throw it to the audience, let us judge it. But ignoring the rest, it's cool to watch the protagonist open and hang occasionally, isn't it?

The set costumes are great, but... Jack Su, anti-physics, square dance, inferior CG, explosion of color saturation, and after experiencing the disaster of watching movies on the Great Wall of China, why use this film to self-abuse. (It is estimated that this film will have a very good effect on a barrage at station B. Anyway, the bladders of the otaku are strong enough.)

It's not just a fusion of martial arts movies, but also magical elements... all kinds of special effects and magical logic. If it weren't for Indian movies, I really suspect that the director has come to deliberately make fun.

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion quotes

  • Bhallaladeva: He was with you for only nine months and that too in your womb. You were with me for twenty-five years, so how could you just leave me for him, Devasena

  • Bhallaladeva: This gold statue, the throne of Mahishmathi, this crown, my complete control over this kingdom, all this time I thought these brought me joy. No! It's these iron chains. These chains that have inflicted hellish torture on Devasena. Now that Devasena is no longer in their grasp, I feel like my head is going to burst open, Father!
