Listen to Philosophy, See Peach

I watched this movie because I listened to Mr. Liu Qing's lecture.

First of all, we must sigh the beauty of the female lead and the gentlemanly demeanor of the second male. Although the first male has no money, he has his own ideas in the professional field and is an ordinary and shining person.

When the plot of the second male gentleman was really at the auction of Hippo, he was able to continue to increase the price, but he did not. He knew enough was enough, and maybe he was moved. And he said, maybe you guys want to talk. So he gave up his seat. The male one calmly and affectionately signed the divorce agreement with the female lead.

This is where the story goes. The second man knew he had lost, and it was time for the $1 million game to end. In the car, so he left his last face and asked the hostess to leave. He described himself as a playboy, and of course he probably was. The poor acting makes the heroine know what it means.

This may be the decency of a rich man, he is rich, but he also hopes that women are willing to approach him, rather than really bribing them. Between buying and attracting, the rich hold a scale that makes them comfortable.

The heroine finally returned to the man. I think it's because she just wants to live an ordinary life. Her reason told her that she did not belong to the world of the second male. She had never thought of living like that in her life goals. This may also be a sense of inadequacy.

The movie is attributed to warmth. I don't know whether this design is a kind of vulgarity of the movie or another kind of reality.

Some say if you want something you have to let it go If you lose it and find it it's forever yours Otherwise it's not yours at all I told you I love you do I still love you without me Do you still love it forever

It was originally a very good movie. The actors, lines, gimmick conflicts, pictures, etc. were all very good, but a bad ending ruined everything. Redford is really handsome from young to old.

Indecent Proposal quotes

  • David: [while playing pool] I guess there's limits to what money can buy.

    John: Not many.

Diana: Well some things aren't for sale.

    John: Such as?

Diana: Well you can't buy people.

John: That's naive, Diana. I buy people every day.

Diana: In business, maybe, but you can't buy people not when real emotions are involved.

John: So you're saying you can't buy love? That's a bit of a cliché don't you think?

    Diana: It's absolutely true.

John: Is it? What do you think?

    David: I agree with Diana.

John: You do? Well let's test the cliché. Suppose... I were to offer you one million dollars for one night with your wife.

    David: I'd assume you're kidding.

John: Let's pretend I'm not. What would you say?

Diana: He'd tell you to go to hell.

    John: I didn't hear him.

David: I'd tell you to go to hell.

John: That's a reflex answer because you view the question as hypothetical. But let's say that there was real money backing it up. I'm not kidding. A million dollars. The night would come and go but the money could last a lifetime. Think of it. A million dollars. A lifetime of security... for one night. Don't answer right away. Just consider it; seriously?

    David: We're positive, okay?

John: Well then you've proved your point. There are limits to what money can buy. It's late, and I hate to admit it, but I have meetings in the morning. May I have one dance? With your permission.

David: You know something? I think you better hurry on to that meeting. You don't want to miss out on your next billion.

John: Understood. I wouldn't part with her either. Good night.

  • Diana: Somethings are not for sale.

    John: Such as?

Diana: Well you can't buy people.
