I can't comment on the controversial plot or actors here, at least I think everything exists because of him meaning.
Music has its target audience, and the same goes for movies.
You can say that it's not independent enough, it's not real enough, it's not innovative enough,
but if you don't like the movie, you're not one of its target audiences, that's all.
Maybe it was originally a fairy tale, at least I take it as a fairy tale
so I will sympathize with evan's life experience, I am angry when I see him being bullied, I will be moved when he says i'm counting, see lyla and louis To sigh when I no longer play an instrument, and to laugh when the final happy ending
If even fairy tales have no color and must tell us that life is sinister, then what to do with this.
At least, I am the audience for this movie and I love it.
