A Shadow of the Day
On the Road
Adapted from the classic book "On the Road" by Jack and Kerouac, the original book is regarded as the bible of the "Beat Generation" in the United States. (Friendly reminder, don't watch it with the minors and elders in the family.) But I admit that I am superficial, and I watched this movie for Xiao K's face. K really deserves to be like what she said, both men and women, how can there be such a charming and heroic face??
After Yan Gou licked his face, let's talk about the movie itself.
After getting acquainted with three young people who are obsessed with freedom, they decide to leave life behind and walk on the road together. They hitchhiked all the way, sucked leaves, sang, meditated, and on the road through the east and west of the United States, they wandered, pursued themselves, and burned their youth.
Just such a simple story, young people in that era pursued the meaning of life in a free and undisciplined way, and they chose to use road trips to explore the world. No pressure, no too many fetters. In fact, I have read the book "On the Road" in high school, but unfortunately I didn't understand it at all in high school. I just thought everything was crazy, and Americans were really wild. After watching a movie as an adult, I don’t know why I suddenly miss myself at a certain stage, and I also worked hard to open my heart, long for the world, burn desperately, and miss that enthusiasm and passion.
Tears in the last scene.
Of course I want to be forever young and always have tears in my eyes, but the truth is that a generation will grow old, and there will always be someone young.
